Soles4Souls Shoe Drop off
Pleasant Valley High School Senior Jack Wathen found a way to do something good with his old, but still in good shape, shoes. Jack is collecting new and gently used shoes to donate to the Soles4Souls Organization. Soles4Souls is a global not-for-profit organization fighting the devastating impact and perpetuation of poverty. They collect new and used shoes and clothes, and then distribute them by direct donation to people in need. Jack’s goal is to collect 1,000 pairs of shoes by the end of May. Western Pocono Community Library has agreed to partner with Jack and become a drop off point for the community members. You can drop by the library during business hours and drop off your shoes for this great cause. For more information you can contact the library at 570-992-7934. We will be collecting shoes until Friday May 31.
